must always maintain empty space freely on "drive c:". they are the main source for ur pc to move fast. have atleast 10gb empty memory space. minimum will be 5gb to 3 gb.
do remove cache memory weekly. this cache will eat ur memory space. and lastly, defrag ur system monthly.
oh yes! terlupa! saw ur specs! try adding in another 1gb memory ram to ur system since it's running on win 7. memory ram are cheap nowadays. anyway, nice songs you've there. cool!
install a "winzip" or "winrar" software to compressed the unwanted files that are seldom use. can download free in many website but limited specs yet still good enough for norm user like you, or buy pirated cd with full specs at pasar malam/plaza atria/plaza imbi. for net, look for site that are more on tech review. they provide link to "winzip" and "winrar".
should have not use win 7, since it will slow down ur pc when things get heavier. would recommend win xp, or vista. they're just nice for ur 1.66ghz 2 core duo. probably urs come with pre-install win 7 starter. but still, it will slow down slowly as time past when you start installing things and saving more stuff.

win7 pro is too heavy for ur system to run. it will eat ur memory and will slow down ur pc. it is more suitable for mid and high end pc depending on their core and more ram. always use genuine windows when using pc. you'll face less problem when using genuine. never listen to ppl that say it is okie to use pirated windows especially when come to pc. since you already have ori vista, try to install it back. ask the one that are good in doing this. just my opinion, but ur choice!
pc crashed are common for norm users. person that have no interest in toggling with their pc will never learn what went wrong in the first place. it is different if hardware have problem.
on "winrar", try to compress one folder that have many photos. before compressing it, look at the size of file "mb" bytes. after compressing, then only you can see the differences. it will become smaller bytes. the file will be save in "winrar" format. to view, you need to uncompressed by using "winrar" again. thought this is a little hassle. best way is to get external hardisk of 500 megabytes or 1 terrabytes since you like downloading musics and saving photos.
and about the external hardisk, i've already have the intention to buy it, but i thought it would be expensive for me to buy i think 500mb is not enough for me. hahaha
i'll go to midvalley at the end of this month and make a survey about the hardisk :D

i bought some of the stuff here since it is the nearest to my place. other place sell a little higher and some only sell certain brand. when buying, buy a brand that are related more to hardisk, such as, western digital, seagate, hitachi, toshiba... don't buy casing from another brand that are not related to making hardisk, it won't last. i have 4, only left one that is still alive. after that, install directly into pc.
